Attorney Bio
Kathlyn Bullis is a recent addition to the Denver Legal Team, and a somewhat recent transplant to the Denver Area. Kathlyn grew up in Michigan, and it was at the young age of seven that she decided to become an attorney. Growing up in Michigan, Kathlyn was very involved in 4-H and horseback riding, which introduced her to Michigan State University, where she would receive her B.A. in Social Relations and Policy from James Madison College. While in James Madison College, Kathlyn cemented her desire to become an attorney, all the while studying European history, evolutionary theory, law, and social policy. After graduating from Michigan State, Kathlyn relocated to Denver for law school, where she attended University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
While in law school, Kathlyn was the Managing Editor of the University of Denver Water Law Review, and the President of the DU Law Democrats. She also placed first in the Natural Resource and Environmental Law Appellate Competition while at DU. It was her participation in Moot Court Competitions that inspired her to go into litigation. Since moving to Colorado, Kathlyn has attempted to learn to snow board and golf, however at this time she cannot claim any expertise in either area. She loves to travel and is currently in pursuit of her goal to have visited every state in the U.S. by the year 2015. So far, only 10 to go. Kathlyn still remains a loyal Detroit Sports fan, and can often be found at the MSU Alumni Bar in Denver on Michigan State Game Days. Kathlyn also volunteers her time as a coach for George Washington High School’s Mock Trial Team on weekends, when she is not playing flyball with one of her two Rat Terriers.
